Odin is a remarkably well-bred 6-year-old show jumping horse with qualities for the sport. He stands out because of his looks. He jumps with a lot of power and technique, and does this with visible pleasure.
Under saddle, Odin is sensitive and honest, and not easily scared. He needs a rider with experience and feeling who understands him and offers sufficient variety in training. It is absolutely not a mean horse, but one that gets bored quickly and likes to be challenged mentally. In the right hands he will grow into a fantastic sport horse.
Odin is a horse for the ambitious rider who loves a sensitive and talented partner with a big heart for jumping.
We bought Odin almost a year ago for our 14-year-old daughter. With enough guidance she can ride him just fine. However, we have realized that he is a better fit for a rider with a clear but sweet hand and someone who has more experience in training horses. We wish him an owner who can gently take him to a higher level.
Odin descends from the stallion Kallas (1.50 m) by Dallas VDL (1.60 m), and his mother is Qiwi vd Vinusakker zv. Quartz Rouge successful at 1.35m jumping level.
