For sale – 3.5 year old Connemara pony
We offer our 3.5-year-old pony Misses Moonriver – a pony with charisma, blood and future potential. Moon is a D-pony and measures 140 cm at the withers.
Moon was born with us and was saddled this summer. She then spent a few weeks on the pasture, in the meantime she is ridden quietly again and she is ready for the big work.
From the pedigree: her father is the excellent Connemara stallion Carrig Thunder (born 1997, Ireland; height approx. 1.43 m) – approved class I stallion, used in Belgium. Carrig Thunder comes from a sporting line and his descendants are used in jumping, dressage and eventing.
Her mother is the mare Misses Grey, who has been with us since she was 7 years old. She always competed in eventing with us, both in the LRV where she competed up to light ponies and crosses such as CNC Genk, CNC Anzegem, CNC Marchin, etc. and completed in the light ponies class. Moon therefore inherits quality lines and sporting experience in the background.
Numerous supplies (such as saddle cloths, bridles, bridle, break-in blankets, summer blanket, etc.) are provided.
Moon has a “cool head” – she is shapely, alert and with charisma. However, she does need an advanced rider who can control her, train her further and further showcase her talent. She is not a “beginner riding pony”, because she has only just broken saddle and is still quite green. She has already taken a small leap, but needs a confident rider to expand this further.
Moon is therefore looking for an advanced rider or family that has experience with young, sporty ponies, who wants to put time and love into Moon’s further training. Someone who can guide her, provide structure and help her along the way.
