ecenzo is a very sweet and nice horse, well trained; Really on the sitting and bone aids. He is smart and responds very well to your body language and thinking. Furthermore, he is very light on the aids (you just have to think and he is already doing it). He has a very soft mouth and is good forward (it is not lazy !!). It moves very nicely and large. He attracts a lot of attention several times with his appearance and posture. Although he is 16 years old, it is certainly not an oldie. There is a lot of work in it, and he enjoys that too.
He has driven more recreational in recent years. Making a jump is not his thing (he has always learned to stay between the gates). He is familiar with forest rides in step and trot (I don’t dare a cans myself). Ecenzo sets out both together and just easily. He is not a fan of ponds. We now walk to the club (5km public road) and he is not shocked by cyclists, cyclists, quads, cars, tractors, large freight traffic. A dog that can suddenly jump against the fence, yes, he can be shocked. And when he is shocked, he “scares”, he can put a pass aside and then “look” to what shocked him, but does not run away. Under the saddle this is exactly the case. He can give a “shock reaction”, but does not run away, and has never boked or founded, or put a pass wrong. We also picked up groundwork, and he does this neatly.
He likes attention, but standing still for a long time at the cleaning spot is not his thing again. He has always had his vaccinations, the dentist every year and between 8-10 weeks the farrier comes. He is currently without irons and that goes great. He has a flat and steep foot, but is not bothered by this (not without irons). He used to be in front of irons, but when the nails are hit, he could sometimes respond to the farrier. Because of his competition history, he used to easily enter the trailer (he does not know the side loader). Because I have not gone much at the competition, he went to the trailer less often with me. It is best to load him with two men.
