has been heading/eventing. He has course experience up to 80 cm, and has already met Eventing. He likes to jump but is still quite green in it. That’s because we first focused on groundwork and dressage. Balou is currently parked by a dressage rider who provides him with a strong basis.
Balou has had his first matches and internships on the move. He loads well and is not impressed by new environments. He also likes to go for a walk and heads. We did not go for a walk alone.
At the age of two, Balou is fully inspected on Merelbeke, with good results. He is free from Cornage, heart rhythm disorders, OCD and Kissing Spines. He has a small comment on the pipe leg that will not stand in the way of his sports career (inspection report available). His joints are 100% good. So far, Balou has never been limp.
We expect that Balou can grow with the right training/rider to 1m30 league or national eventing.
