Approved 8 year old Connemara Stallion

Talented Connemara Stallion Skaergardens Celtic Night (nickname Lasse) born in May 2016 in Denmark with a withers height of 1.48m. 

Celtic Night was imported from Denmark as a 2-year-old. He is a son of Wirtsmühle Delaney's, champion of the International Stallion Show in 2014 in the Netherlands. Delaney's is a very good mover himself and he has certainly passed on his movement to Lasse. His mother, Barholts Evita, is the foundation mare of Stoeterij Skærgården. Lasse is her 4th son who is approved in class 1. She is also the grandmother of HOYS winner Skærgårdens Delicious Love (by Wirtsmühle Delaney's). She passed her jumping test with a 9 for power and an 8 for both technique and rideability.

Lasse recently jumped ponies up to M (1.00m) and is allowed to start L2 dressage. The flying change and M1 exercises have been confirmed. Lasse has also been able to participate several times at the Gelderland Championships. He is down to earth, has a lot of talent for jumping and cross-country. I.v.m. transition to the horses of the current rider and too little time on the part of the owner, it was with a heavy heart that we decided to sell Lasse.

Lasse can be put on the trailer together with other ponies/horses (also with mares, this happens weekly). No stable defects. Good at the farrier, dentist, vet and shearing. Is well-behaved in the woods and on the competition grounds. Despite his level-headedness, Lasse does need clarity and we would like to see him with a handy, motivated and experienced rider. He is currently still being ridden and may yet be shown jumping among the horses. He has been mated via AI and is approved for life by the Dutch Connemara Pony Studbook.
