Beautiful black broodmare named Jamila v. Chippendale x Elegant (half dressage, half Gelder bred, but Gelder registered). This lady already competed at the NVK as a prime foal, and after her star declaration was allowed to go to the Dag van het Gelders Paard (Central Inspection) where she became provisional keur and was then invited to the NMK.
Her first foal, Ruysdael van Ruijnen v. Kardieno, was allowed as a foal to the NVK where he became reserve champion and he became immediately a KWPN designated premium stallion at the age of 3! Her second colt by Parodie is currently being reared by a stallion owner and two co-registered horses with the aim of the KWPN stallion inspection 2026/2027. And this year’s filly by Alexandro P was recently sold in the KWPN Auction. She achieved the second highest price among the dressage foals! So three different stallions were used, but all three top foals! This says something about the quality of this mare. Depending on the stallion used, she produces chic types or foals with size. In any case, they all have size and panache.
The mare comes from a very good Gelderland mare line; free from Ahoy and free from Koss. She has a very good hind leg and three spacious gaits. She has not been ridden for a few years, but this is still recreational (possible at B/L level).
Unfortunately, she is not allowed to compete for the coming season due to personal circumstances. However, she is easy to get pregnant (mare card available and information can be obtained from Horse Clinic Wolvega). She has always been felt/scanned/inseminated at home by ‘Wolvega’ without a feel-up box.
She is a dominant mare who is the boss in the herd and she is envious of food in the stable. However, she is very easy to approach with the foal and is not overprotective (you can feel free to approach her once the foal is born). She is a good and sweet mother. That role suits her too. Furthermore, she is easy to handle and she loads well, even with a foal (she is used to a two-horse truck).
I have had this mare since she was weaned and unfortunately circumstances now force me to sell. However, this does not mean that I will give her to the first person. She is very close to my heart and that is why I think a good, permanent home with a lover is more important than the price.
