Due to transition to horses, we unfortunately have to put our fantastic pony up for sale. Ireo is a large D pony of 1.48 and is 11 years old. He came to us untrained at the age of 5, and we trained him ourselves. He is currently running at Z1 level with several winning points, and he certainly has the talent for more. He also really enjoys jumping and has run a few B competitions with winning points. Due to the rider’s interest, he was not presented further in this. We jump with it at home for a change. He is good outside both alone and in a group. He is good at loading and at the farrier. He walks in our pasture with several others.
He has never been lame or sick with us.
Ireo is good under saddle but sensitive, he can be a bit tense getting on, especially on strange terrain. But as soon as you sit on it, the tension is immediately gone. We think that he is therefore best suited to a rider with some experience.
He will only go away to a 5 star house where he will be outside every day.
