Mayla (officially Melantho’s Myla) is an 18 year old brown mare. Measured in Belgium and the Netherlands at 1.45m. Can be brushed and cuddled for hours. Her head hangs lower, so that the kids can better reach the mane for combing.
She is an ideal pony for a rider who wants to learn from her again.
We have had her for 4 years now and have learned and enjoyed so much from her. Won’t hurt a fly, and yet all the buttons of the Z are on it.
Mayla also runs in the group with others at the pony club, she is a traffic jam, she also enjoys trotting or jumping. Tutting, washing, shaving is all fine with her. She also does pony camps very well.
She is currently still competing in Belgium and the Netherlands.
Recently had the opportunity to ride a bit of a show at Horse Event, she did it all without any problems. Strange stable, away for several days, it doesn’t matter, applause, freestyle to music, pouring rain, she does it all for you
You can jump on it and slide down the ass, travel around the world, you name it.
So really a children’s pony, but one with potential
She is of course also lunged regularly, so she knows the command walk, trot and canter very well.
Runs smoothly up and down the trailer. Stands alone or with others on the trailer.
Kent horse walker. Stands for horseshoes.
Given her pedigree (and that her previous son competed internationally in the sport), it may also be interesting to breed.
We never thought this moment would come, because we bought Mayla as a learning pony. She had competed M1 with the previous owners and learned the final exercises for Z1 herself. She always finished top 5 in the B tests, Class L1 was allowed to ride this combination at the Brabant championships.
As a parent you can put your child on it with confidence and still have a super fun, sweet sports pony from which your child can learn a lot.
Naturally, Mayla deserves a super home, preferably with fanatical rider(s), she can last for years, because you really don’t give them an 18.
