Donnie is a talented dressage pony. It has three good basic gaits; a lot of effort and has a lot of power in changes of direction. He has a lot of impulsion when trotting and galloping and walks with good balance. This is a real sports pony (not a children’s pony). He is not shy, but he is eager to work for the rider. He knows the secondary passages; give way, shoulder in, across, support, etc.
He knows the blacksmith, the veterinarian, the pasture, the walker and transportation. He is very sociable with other horses (he has a grazing buddy).
It is now ridden by a 13-year-old girl. Ultimately, he has no competitive experience but is ready to give it a go. It’s good to be there.
