Contador (Danny Gold x FS Golden Moonlight, 1.45m) is literally and figuratively a golden pony! Not only is he beautiful to look at, he also has an absolute top character. Bucking or rearing is not in his dictionary, he will always do his utmost for his rider. It is truly 100% bombproof, even less experienced or anxious riders can ride away on it. It is ideal for gaining or regaining confidence in the saddle.
Contador currently runs at national level, with scores up to 69% (Belgian Cup 2024). So he masters all exercises of the highest level: shoulder in, half-appuyements, counter canter, Kurzkehrt,… He is comfortable with the aids, so you can start with him at a higher level. Moreover, he is a real teacher, he forgives small mistakes and will patiently guide his rider in learning these exercises.
The reason for selling is my daughter’s height and international ambitions. We give him a slightly smaller, younger rider with a good dressage base who wants to climb to the higher levels. In exchange for lots of hugs, Contador will ensure that you always come home with a prize!
Despite his age, he is in absolute top condition. In the last 4 years he has not had a limp for a day. He has always been vaccinated, trimmed and dewormed according to the book. It stands on irons at the front and back. We did not have him inspected upon purchase, because we knew him from the stable and knew that he has never had health problems. Of course, inspection is always allowed, kk.
