Boris op ‘t Hoog is a 6 year old gelding with a height of 148 (officially measured) which makes him a large D pony.
Boris is registered with the KVTH studbook.
PSSM1 free (test report available) and does not have summer eczema.
He is currently running L1 dressage among the horses.
B dressage and B jumping for the ponies.
He has also run several practice crosses at B/L level and does this with great ease and pleasure.
At home he is trained at M level (jumping and dressage) and also jumps a green change.
He doesn’t look at anything and is almost never startled. He is also very good in foreign terrain.
Principles have been made with long lines and driving gear and he also really likes this.
He also loves being ridden without a saddle and with a neckrope. He is easy on traffic but can sometimes become a bit strong on the road/beach/forest.
It can be loaded onto the trailer by yourself and can also be left there for a few hours.
Good at the blacksmith (barefoot), vet and dentist.
Good with washing and shaving.
He is very social with other horses and also thrives in a herd.
He can spend 24/7 on the pasture in the summer, but he prefers being in the stable at night.
All in all a super fun versatile pony.
Not suitable for the little ones, it remains a Haflinger and can sometimes become strong.
