With pain in my heart I am looking for a new home for my top horse Cooley Kodachrome “Nitto”.
Nitto is a gray gelding of 1.61m, a real all-rounder. He is classified CCI2* eventing (international), 1.20m jumping, and M2 dressage. We learned and did everything together, we imported Nitto from Ireland as a 3.5 year old to train as an eventing horse. We have also done this the most.
He would be suitable for someone who is looking for a nice all-round horse, recreational or with sporting ambitions at B/L/M level.
Nitto does have a form of equine asthma, which means that he can have an allergic reaction to too much dust. We have this well under control with a lot of time outside, a stable with a hatch outside and steaming hay. However, this does mean that I no longer find him suitable for top sport (international eventing). He also wears an eczema blanket in the summer.
Because we now also have young horses and I will be graduating soon, I have to make difficult choices. He only goes to a 5* home, which can also offer him the necessary attention he deserves. He is a horse among thousands, which you can easily stop for 2 weeks and then get back on and ride away. Will never buck, rear up or react unpredictably, super easy horse.
