Both the mother and grandmother of this Ulla JT have at level accomplished. Mother Eva van Perbeemd jumped at 1.40m level, while grandmother Elina excelled in international sport at the highest level under McLain Ward and Cameron Hanley (sport name Jewel’s Ivory). Elina proves her worth in breeding as grandmother of the 1.55m horse VDL Helena van Perbeemd (by Eldorado vd Zeshoek), with which Hessel Hoekstra has already qualified in the 1.55m Grand Prix of Poznan and Gorla Minore. Combined with this sports lineage is the stallion Mindset ES VDL, who won bronze at the World Championships in Lanaken as a five-year-old and made a convincing 1.45m debut this summer under Alex Gill. His first offspring prove that he is also an asset to breeding.

Ashton DW Z is a descendant of the Grand Prix stallion Arezzo VDL. This sire has built up a good name in breeding as the sire of sporting highlights such as VDL Edgar M, Harwich VDL and Julius.D. Mother Innovation is a full sister of the internationally 1.35m classified Jolly Dutch and her pedigree combines two lines from breeder Martien Liefhebber. In the fourth generation, this line goes back to the 1.35m jumping mare Kabinett, who is known in breeding thanks to her approved son Patent (by Colino), with whom Peter Bulthuis won the Grand Prix of Pontedera and Vestfold. This direct line also produces 1.45m classified horses such as Dosco van de Postbaan, Irocca van de Postbaan and Jorrera CKV.
