6-year-old gelding by Ideal de la Loge x Clinton – Exceptional scope and promising future in sport
This 6-year-old gelding combines top-level bloodlines with outstanding jumping quality. His sire, Ideal de la Loge, was successful up to 1.60 m internationally, and his dam’s sire, Clinton, is known worldwide as a producer of top-level performance horses and a highly influential stallion.
This horse shows truly exceptional natural ability. He jumps with enormous scope, excellent awareness, and remarkable carefulness – qualities that make him stand out in the ring and highlight his clear potential for higher-level sport. He is ambitious, always wants to get to the other side, and works with his rider without ever being hectic or difficult.
In handling, he is very well-behaved, people-oriented, and easy to manage – a reliable partner in everyday stable life. He also remains calm and composed at shows. He has already competed in 1.10 m young horse classes with an amateur rider and performed without issues.
Health-wise, he is fully sound and fit to work despite a past injury.
At the age of four, he sustained an extensor tendon injury after kicking through a wooden wall. The tendon sheath was exposed, and he underwent immediate surgery followed by ideal post-operative care. After only one week of stall rest and a carefully managed rehab, he returned to regular training within a few weeks. Since then, he has shown no signs of lameness and has continued to train and jump without any issues. The injured area remains slightly thicker and a bit less elastic in appearance, but this does not affect him functionally in any way.
Important to know: After transport (trailer or truck), he can become unsettled if not unloaded promptly. To avoid any risk of injury, we always unload him immediately upon arrival. With time and training, this can certainly be improved – however, we simply haven’t had the time to address it further.

The price reflects both the old injury and the trailer behavior – making this a great opportunity for a horse of this quality. Without this history, his price would be significantly higher.
