Brechtje is a good teacher for a smaller person who wants to learn to ride better and get to know dressage competitions. She has been a lot on competition in recent years and she is now running L2 dressage with a win. She also enjoys jumping, but she can be uncertain at the beginning. She is not suitable for an uncertain rider because she needs someone who can convince her, she can also find things scary.
She stands outside here 24/7 with the possibility of hiding in a walk -in stable in the winter. She can also stand without a blanket in the winter. She can stand in a group with other ponies, she has good hooves and has never been lame or sick. She is sensitive to dust in the hay so pit or hay with little dust is recommended with her.
At the vet, farrier, and dentist, she is sometimes quite difficult because she is quickly upset with strange things. But if you do this with patience it will get much better.
